Act Avenue marks its seventh year with Kwentuhog: A Bedtime Story, the latest installment of its original theater anthology series, featuring four never-before-staged plays that explore sleep, relationships, personal struggles, dreams, and the realities that keep people awake at night.
Running on November 28–29, 2026, at the Myra Beltran Dance Forum Studio in Quezon City, the two-day theatrical production brings together four original stories set around a single bed, offering audiences a mix of comedy, drama, emotional moments, and thought-provoking narratives.

The production features Sleep Buddies, written by Jomari Jacinto and directed by Xander Go, starring Simon Peter and Athena Lita. The story follows Leah, who seeks help from a sleep doctor to understand her sleepless nights, only to discover that some personal struggles cannot be resolved through simple diagnoses.

Also featured is Sagada, written by Koi Alcantara and directed by Xander Go, with Rahf Vicente, Vee, and Shernielyn Cea. The play follows Jules and Dale as they plan their dream escape to Sagada, while confronting the blurred lines between memories, reality, and the truth they are trying to avoid.

The third production, Deadline, written by Don Joseph Budoso and directed by Xander Go, features Lucky Historia, Kath Vallido, Hyang Mi Nitro, Janelle Villamor, and Say Escandor. It centers on Axel, a 29-year-old painter racing against time to create his greatest masterpiece for the Philippine Art Awards while dealing with the personal struggles and pressures that challenge his artistic journey.

Completing the anthology is A Day INA: LIVE!, written by Jomari Jacinto and directed by Xander Go. Featuring Michelle Martinez, Tiffany Chanel Ducusin, Angel Gutierrez, Xyzie Ridon, and Cloie Revilla, the play follows viral vlogger Juicy as she hosts a competition to find the internet’s best mother. However, the online audience soon takes control, turning the livestream into an unpredictable and revealing experience.
The production will also feature choreography performed by dancers Kael Niegos and Jhaymie Quistoria.
