Joker (2019) was very minimal when it comes to action scenes and sfx. It has a very rich narrative and the message that it wanted to convey was focused on mental health. It has depth on its artistry when it comes to the cinematography, colour grading and generous frames. The story comes with a lot of twists and surprises. The spotlight was focused to Joaquin Phoenix and his take on his character. The movie in general was simple and yet very beautiful! The overall execution was well done. It was very disturbing, very alarming and contains a lot of triggers but, it was very beautiful.
