The music video for “Panic” from LØREN’s debut EP, Put Up a Fight, was published on March 24 to critical praise from Billboard, Variety, Associated Press, StyleCaster, and others. Watch the “Panic” music video HERE. Along with the video release, LREN has revealed that he will play at Coachella on Sunday, April 16.
“Panic” is the second music video released off the EP, following the perfectly gloomy video for “Folks.” “Panic” is self-composed and written by LØREN, and he played all instruments for the track. The video shows LØREN performing on stage, shouting the lyrics to the song as he plays guitar, cut between shots of him inside a car. On his inspiration for the video, LØREN explains, “This is a very personal song for me and I’m excited to put the video out. My friends also took part in the shooting which makes it all that more special to me.”
To celebrate the release of his debut EP with 88rising, LØREN will be heading to California later this month to perform on Sunday, April 16th at Coachella, which is on the heels of SXSW where LØREN was named one of the “20 Best Acts We Saw at SXSW 2023” by Paste Magazine. He is also set to play at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds festival, which will take place May 20-21 in New York City.
The Korean alt-rocker currently serves as the face of Saint Laurent and has graced the covers of Vogue Hong Kong, DAZED Korea, i-D, and Female Magazine as their first male cover star. LØREN has garnered a significant following internationally due to his work as a songwriter (and video costar) for BLACKPINK, along with acclaim from a series of singles released in 2021 which amassed over 14 million views in a year and grew his Instagram following to over 1.2 million.
